For over a decade, Kemba has guided vessels and their guests safely across more than 34,000 nautical miles. An RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and PADI Divemaster, his seamanship is matched by a refined ability to create meaningful experiences at sea. Having served as both First Mate and Captain on private and charter yachts throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and across the Atlantic. Kemba brings a depth of maritime expertise that allows guests to relax fully, knowing they are in safe and capable hands.

What makes Kemba unique ability to seamlessly blends his maritime career with his background as a certified personal trainer, nutrition and wellness coach. His philosophy is that time at sea should not only be about adventure, but also about renewal. For those seeking play and exploration, his love of water sports—whether wakeboarding behind the tender, or diving vibrant reefs—opens the door to discovery for all ages and abilities. Emily brings a rare blend of science and artistry to the galley of La Sirena. With a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and years of experience as a retreat chef, pastry chef, and quality assurance manager for one of the America’s largest and most innovative craft breweries, she combines creativity with scientific precision.

Her health-forward cuisines are fresh, flavorful, and mindfully crafted to nourish guests while honoring individual preferences. For Emily, food is an opportunity for connection. She believes every meal should engage the senses, fortify the body, and bring people together. Each element of her dishes are carefully built to balance flavor, texture, color, and nutrition. Together with Kemba, she helps create an onboard atmosphere that feels both welcoming and transformative.

As a dynamic captain-and-chef couple, Kemba and Emily bring a rare blend of seamanship, hospitality, and holistic wellness to every charter.
