Built for play as much as comfort, she carries a Highfield 460 Sport tender (90 hp), E-foil (Flite), wakeboard, 2× SUPs, kitesurf kit (instructor available at extra cost), snorkel gear, fishing gear, BOTE inflatable hangout, inflatable platform + chairs, umbrellas, beach cooler, and table games. Dive gear (2 full BCDs, 6 tanks, compressor) is aboard for divemaster/instructor use only.

Your crew of three delivers the difference: Captain Matías Bóveda — lifelong sailor (Argentina–Brazil–Caribbean), ex-Quantum Sails sailmaker, kitesurf/foil/wing rider, advanced diver, with extensive Leeward/Windward mileage since 2021. Chef Eden Córdova — Riviera Maya roots, refined Mexican-meets-international menus, planned around guest preferences and fresh local produce. First Mate Maia Liaudat — seasoned passagemaker and host, certified Hatha Yoga instructor for sunrise sessions that set the tone for the day. Captain Matías • Chef Eden • First Mate Maia

Captain: Matías Bóveda

Born and raised in Argentina, Matías discovered his passion for the sea sailing alongside his father in the wild southern Atlantic. His maritime journey carried him through Brazil and Barcelona, where he honed his skills as a sailmaker with Quantum Sails for four years. Since then, he has navigated countless miles across the Caribbean and the Atlantic aboard sailing, racing, and motor yachts.

An avid waterman, Matías is an expert kitesurfer, foil surfer, and wing foiler, as well as an advanced scuba diver and enthusiastic fisherman. Since 2021, he has been at the helm of Ascension, chartering throughout The Bahamas, Belize, Mexico, The Grenadines, and the Leeward and Windward Islands. His calm confidence, precision, and deep knowledge of the Caribbean ensure each voyage is as safe as it is unforgettable. With Matías at the helm, guests can relax knowing every day will bring adventure, discovery, and the best anchorages in paradise.


Chef: Eden Córdova

Hailing from Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Eden brings the heart and soul of his homeland to every plate. With a career built in exclusive private villas and high-end guest houses, he masterfully fuses traditional Mexican flavors with international inspirations, crafting dishes that delight every palate.

Renowned for his creativity, attention to detail, and warm hospitality, Eden has orchestrated everything from elegant weddings to themed dinners and curated tasting menus. Now in his second season aboard Ascension, he transforms each meal into a sensory experience — colorful, vibrant, and unforgettable. Expect your days on board to be filled with the aromas and flavors of the tropics, and every dinner to end with smiles and satisfied sighs.

First Mate: Maia Liaudat

For Maia, sailing runs in the family — but her true love for life at sea blossomed when she began voyaging alongside Matías. Together, they’ve sailed extensively throughout the Caribbean, from Mexico to Florida, The Bahamas, Belize, and beyond.

Her background in advertising and event production gives her a natural gift for coordination and guest care, while her warmth and intuition make her an exceptional host. A passionate water sports enthusiast and nature lover, Maia is also a certified Hatha Yoga instructor who brings balance and energy to life on board. Guests love joining her for gentle sunrise yoga or mindful stretching on deck — the perfect way to begin another beautiful day on the water.
