We will tailor the itinerary according to your requirements. Whether it be snorkeling, diving or dining in the fine local restaurants our crew who share a love of sailing and entertaining will have your interests at heart! The following is an example of an itinerary as a general guide.
Day 1: Road Town to Norman Island
Depart Road Town and sail down to the Bight at Norman Island. Snorkel the caves at Treasure Point on Norman Island and the Indians. Swim, relax on the beach, drinks at sunset and dinner later at the locally renowned floating restaurant The William Thornton (locally known as Willy T.)
Day 2: Norman Island to Great Harbour
On to Little Harbour at Jost Van Dyke, or Great Harbour - explore Jost, visit Foxy's and other well known beach bars. Stop at White Bay, named for its white sandy beaches. We can visit the Soggy Dollar Bar at the Sandcastle, birth place of the famous Painkiller drink!
Day 3: Great Harbour to Cane Garden Bay and Marina Cay
An easy sail from Jost Van Dyke to Cane Garden Bay. Sandy Cay has a spectacular beach offering us the opportunity for a botanical tour. Callwood's Rum Distillery is also located at Cane Garden Bay. Sail up to either Trellis Bay or Marina Cay, making a stop for lunch at Monkey Point. The whole island is a wildlife sanctuary with one of the richest collections of plant and animal species in the Caribbean. Swim, relax and enjoy another beautiful Caribbean Sunset.
Day 4: Marina Cay to North Sound
Sail to Virgin Gorda with a stop at the Baths at Spanish town. Explore the rock formations with a dinghy and continue on to overnight either at Leverick Bay or North Sound.
Day 5: North Sound to Anageda
An early start and a great sail to Anageda. Enjoy snorkeling on the horseshoe coral reef and lobster dinner on the beach at the Anageda Reef hotel.
Day 6: Anageda to Little Harbour at Peter Island
Stop for a swim at Deadman Bay at the east end. Overnight at Little Harbour, a very peaceful anchorage, and enjoy an evening of complete relaxation with cocktails and dinner with the finest Caribbean sunset as a backdrop.
Day 7: Peter Island to Tortola
After lunch, return to your port of call and ask yourself the question, when do I want to come back? Your itinerary is completely flexible depending on how active or relaxed you would like to be during your charter. Prior to your vacation the crew will be in touch to introduce themselves and discuss an itinerary outline with you. Ultimately this is your private yacht, so you can change your plans and stay longer in an area, or head off to new shores whenever you'd like - it is entirely up to you. |
