Captain Pierre and Chef Adele are living their dream of sailing the Caribbean and they would be delighted to share with you their adventure, their joie-de-vivre, the good food and good wine.
Adele is an amazing story-teller and Pierre is a great source of information. Both are excellent chefs, specializing in international and fusion cuisines. Typical dishes include Caribbean black bean soup, Thai red curries, French chicken vinegar, pork medallions in cream sauce, snapper meuniere, chocolate cake, pecan pie, banana flambé, and many other dishes!
Pierre was born and educated in Canada. He is a professional electrical engineer who worked for the Canadian air navigation system, the Canadian Coast Guard and as a public safety radio system consultant. He holds a British Virgin Island Boatmaster License.
He has over 21 years of experience in sailing as a skipper, including 10 years of high level racing. He is a Canadian Yacht Association Sailing Instructor, is trained in Advanced Marine First Aid/CPR and Marine Emergency Duties, Basic Safety (STCW-95) and holds marine radio operator and amateur radio licenses.
Adele was also born and educated in Canada. She worked in the dental field for over 25 years. She has over 21 years of sailing experience, including 10 years of high level racing.
Pierre and Adele have sailed the Caribbean, the United States East Coast, and Lake Ontario. They are bilingual in English and French. Pierre speaks a litlle bit of Spanish.
