Day 1:
We pick you up in Red Hook, St. Thomas around noon and head for Waterlemon Cay, St. John serving lunch along the way. Go for a snorkel with the turtles around the cay and/or a hike up to the Annaberg sugar plantation ruins. In the evening watch the sun set over St. John with a Pina Colada. Dinner is on the way!
Day 2:
After breakfast and a morning swim, we sail across the Sir. Francis Drake Channel to the old pirate haunt of Sophers Hole, Tortola. The captain will check everyone into customs while you relax. Check out the local shops before we sail to Norman Island (the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island"). Once at Norman, we can go for a dive at the "Indians" and/or snorkel Blackbeards caves. Bring a flashlight! In the afternoon relax with a book or go waterskiing, wakeboarding, or tubing. Spend sunset on deck with a glass of wine and some appetizers while dinner is prepared to your liking. After dinner, party it up at the famous "Willy T" floating pirate ship bar or challenge Rose and Travis to a board game.
Day 3:
Sip on some freshly brewed coffee while Rose makes Breakfast or sleep in (you are on vacation!). You can go on a dive with Travis or hike to the top of Norman Island for one of the best views in the Virgin Islands. We'll then sail to Peter Island for lunch and an afternoon on Deadman's Beach. You can go windsurfing, build a sandcastle or take a tour of one of the most exclusive resorts in the world.
Day 4:
Mango/Banana pancakes this morning! A short sail away is Salt Island; home of one of the only working salt farms in the Caribbean and the last resting place of the famous wreck of the RMS Rhone. Snorkel over the gigantic propeller or dive the skeleton of the hull. Lunch will be waiting for you when you get back. Relax for a while as we sail to Cooper Island. We can dive "wreck alley", snorkel "Lantern Rock" or take a leisurely walk around the Cooper Island Beach Club (the perfect place to watch the sun set over the Sir Fancis Drake).
Day 5:
Once you've had breakfast we sail for "Fallen Jerusalem". We'll launch the kayaks and you can go ashore this deserted island. Explore the island... It's all yours! Go find "lost beach". Snorkel the "Conch Graveyard". You will not want to leave! Listen for the Conch blowing after noon... It's lunch time. The afternoon will be spent at the world famous "Baths" of Virgin Gorda. We'll arrive late enough to miss the day crowds but early enough for you to explore as much as you like. There is no place like this in the world!
Day 6:
A great sail up to the North Sound of Virgin Gorda. There is a lot to do in the sound. Take a look around the Bitter End Yacht Club, go out in a Hobie Cat, snorkel the barrier reef, water ski or just lie back and read a good book. Need one? We've got scores to choose from.
Day 7:
Today we'll take a nice downwind sail to "Monkey Point", definitely one of the best snorkels anywhere. Swim with 6ft Tarpon amid schools of thousands of silversides and brightly colored reef fish. Another nice downwind sail and we'll be Jost Van Dyke; home of Foxy's, the Soggy Dollar, One Love and probably one of the nicest stretches of sand in the World. We can take a dinghy ride to Salty Spit (no more than a lump of sand and palm trees in the ocean or you can just find a hammock and forget about the world.
Day 8:
Sad day, but it's not over yet! We'll sail early to get one last snorkel in on the way. Then it back to the U.S. Virgin Island of St. John. We'll stop long enough check in with customs and give you a little "souvenir time". Then it's back to port in St. Thomas around noon.
Your itinerary is completely flexible depending on how active or relaxed you would like to be during your charter. Prior to your vacation the crew will be in touch to introduce themselves and discuss an itinerary outline with you. Ultimately this is your private yacht, so you can change your plans and stay longer in an area, or head off to new shores whenever you'd like - it is entirely up to you.
