The British Virgin Islands are noted for their phenomenal physical beauty, its safe cruising waters and protected anchorages and its wonderful island people. The BVI have provided yachts with safe harbors since the days of Sir Francis Drake. To the day the same harbors are providing endless days of sailing, scuba-diving, kite-boarding and windsurfing. With the abundance of untouched green space, flamingos and iguanas sailing around the British Virgin Islands on Foxy Lady is a holiday never to forget.
Sample itinerary overview:
Day 1: Leave Tortola and head to White Bay, Peter Island, for stunning beaches and plenty of snorkeling. You can also explore the rest of the island, which is home to the luxurious and exclusive Peter Island Resort.
Day 2: Sail to Salt Island for more snorkeling on the wreck of the Rhone. If you'd prefer you can take the dinghy to shore and explore the island. After lunch sail up to Long Bay, Virgin Gorda, for a late afternoon cocktail or if you are still feeling active some more water sports in the clear blue sea.
Day 3: Take a hike on a nature trail to Savannah Bay, one of the most stunning beaches in the BVI. After lunch, sail to Eustatia Sound where you can explore the yachters paradise around Bitter End Yacht Club and Saba Rock. Possibly dine at Biras Creek Restaurant.
Day 4: A short motor or sail up the North Sound takes you past Necker Island. Then sail to Muskmellon Bay on Guana Island, where you can hike up a cliff path for a spectacular sunset view.
Day 5: Sail to the famous and unspoiled island of Jost Van Dyke. Start the day at Great Harbor or White Bay with a visit to the world famous "Soggy Dollar Bar" and then head down to Great Harbor to explore the many bars and restaurants including the world-renowned Foxy's bar.
Day 6:Early morning sail to Virgin Gorda. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the boulders and rocks that form this natural wonder.
Day 7: Short sail back to Tortola.
Your itinerary is completely flexible depending on how active or relaxed you would like to be during your charter. Prior to your vacation the crew will be in touch to introduce themselves and discuss an itinerary outline with you. Ultimately this is your private yacht, so you can change your plans and stay longer in an area, or head off to new shores whenever you'd like - it is entirely up to you.
