Our itineraries are customized to suit your preferences. There is so much variety in the Virgin Islands that there is something for everyone. So tell us what you would like to see and what you would like to do and we'll make it happen.
We'll pick you up either in Trellis Bay (near the BVI airport), or in Road Town, or Soper's Hole, in the West End if arriving by ferry from the USVI.
Day 1 - Over a welcoming drink and lunch, we'll discuss the planned route through the Virgin Islands. Relax, settle in, let the clear turquoise waters and clear blue skies remind you that you're on vacation!
After one of Iza's fantastic lunches, we sail across the Francis Drake Channel to Norman Island and snorkel The Caves.
Overnight in The Bight at Norman Island. Cocktail hour on board or happy hour at the infamous Willie T or Pirates Bight.
Complete the day with a fine gourmet dinner on board Dreaming On and your first night under the stars.
Day 2 - Awaken to the tantalizing aroma of fresh coffee and bread, the prelude to a great breakfast. After breakfast we sail out to The Indians for some great snorkeling.
On to Cooper Island for lunch, snorkel The Cistern and for the energetic, some exciting watersports. Anchor and explore Hallovers Bay.
Day 3 - Another day in paradise. An upwind sail to Spanish Town, the main town on Virgin Gorda. Lunch on board, then we recommend an afternoon land tour down to The Baths, then over the peak of Virgin Gorda with beautiful views along the way to Leverick Bay in North Sound. Dreaming On meanwhile, will move around to Leverick Bay to meet you.
Cocktails and dinner on board, or enjoy the choices of Bitter End Yacht Club, Saba Rock or Biras Creek.
Day 4 - Awake to another glorious BVI day and a breakfast to die for. Sail out of North Sound, past Eustacia and Necker islands, heading north to Anegada, the most remote island in the BVI and home to the third largest coral reef in the world. Flat and low in contrast to the rest of the Virgin Islands, and home to flamingoes and the Anegada Rock Iguana. Lunch onboard on arrival, then we suggest a short taxi ride over to Loblolly Bay.
If your chosen itinerary includes Anegada, and you are into lobster dinners, then Anegada is definitely a lobster option.
Day 5 - From Anegada, we sail south again to The Dogs for some great snorkeling and lunch, then into the Marina Cay area off the north coast of Tortola, where we have the choices of Trellis Bay, Marina Cay and the great new Scrub Island Resort.
Many of our guests choose to make an overnight marina stop at Scrub Island to take a shore break and enjoy the facilities of the resort, including a great two level pool with water slide at the resort or a remote beach bar and pool on the northern side of the Scrub Island.
Day 6 - A morning sail between Beef Island, Great Caminoe, Little Caminoe and Tortola to Monkey Point, Guana Island. This is a great snorkeling location.
Move to Guana Island's beautiful White Bay for a beach visit and lunch. One of the best beaches in the BVI.
After lunch a gentle downwind sail along Tortola's north coast to Sandy Cay, Jost van Dyke. Enjoy a real picture postcard tropical island experience.
Anchor by Little Jost Van Dyke for dinner and overnight or move into Little Harbour to enjoy the superb lobster dinners and honour bar at Sidney's Peace and Love. We can also arrange for you to visit the famous Foxy's in Great Harbour from here.
Day 7 - If our guests are returning to Red Hook, then we start our day with a visit to Great Harbour, for BVI exit clearance and another opportunity to visit Foxy's. Then around to White Bay, Jost van Dyke, home of the famous Soggy Dollar. Swim ashore to sample the crystal clear azure water, fantastic beach, and a Soggy Dollar Painkiller.
Lunch back on board Dreaming On, then a gentle sail across to Francis Bay, St. John for snorkeling, watersports, followed by cocktails and dinner on board.
Day 8 - Around to Cruz Bay, the great little main town on St. John for US entry clearance and a walk around the town.
Back to Dreaming On and a gentle sail across to Red Hook.
And for guests who are not travelling back to the USVI on board Dreaming On, we'll plan a little extra time to enjoy the delights of the BVI. Your itinerary is completely flexible depending on how active or relaxed you would like to be during your charter. Prior to your vacation the crew will be in touch to introduce themselves and discuss an itinerary outline with you. Ultimately this is your private yacht, so you can change your plans and stay longer in an area, or head off to new shores whenever you'd like - it is entirely up to you. |
